What a way to turn Swerve heel, and for Tony to keep Caster in check.

I thought RoH stopped doing that years ago.

I thought Excalibur mentioned it during the pre-match as he explained the rules. They did the post-match one though.

Also, too, I realized this whole AEW mess could have been avoided (or the severity lessened) by not having post-PPV press conferences. Don't give people a microphone unless you absolutely know what they're going to say.

Part of me thinks the aew tournament doesnt make a lot of sense (no wardlow, no cesaro, some other guys) but then when I think that the winner’s going down for MJF, this is the best way to get there right? Why elevate a new guy to tear him right down?

Looks like the newest edition of BTE ends right before the brawl. It shows the Bucks, Omega and Callis eating pizza in the locker room after their match. I wonder if Cutler got footage of the brawl?

They also called it a "tournament of champions." Four of the six guys have been AEW champion or a multiple-time WWE champion or both, and Guevara and Allin are probably the two most prominent TNT champions so far. So as a best of the best type tournament, that makes sense.
If it was a true tournament of champions, though, they'd have to include everyone on the roster.
