Alcaraz is exciting but yeah Tiafoe, then again Alcaraz may be more likely to advance and he just played past midnight.

I need to see Tiafoe follow up that Nadal performance with another consistent match before I am a believer.

If he gets that first serve in consistently, he should be unbeatable, plus he has that little bit of unpredictability in his shot choices.

But he can be his own worst enemy. I'm still waiting for him to fall apart. But maybe he's figuring things out?

I don't want to take anything away from Tiafoe, beating Rafael Nadal is always a big deal. But Nadal didn't look right.

Nadal's 36. Him losing is not a surprise, not after a wrist issue; not in the last, hardest of majors, and not with the depth of the men's game.

Alcaraz is a beast. He covers more court than anyone I've seen other than maybe Rafa in his prime, and he stretches and contorts like Gumby to return balls that have no business being returned.

Very much looking forward to Gauff-Garcia tonight. The winner of that might be the winner of the tournament (though Iga will likely have something to say about that).

Say night-night, Nick. Was fun while it lasted.

A changing of the guard in men's tennis is long overdue. Being helped along by Djoker's dumb vaxx stance in this instance.

Alcaraz vs. Sinner. Gonna be fun. Here we go.

My God, I love Alcaraz. Can we be so lucky to perhaps have another transcendent star?

He’s been fantastic tonight. And Sinner has answered him and more.

    This match is beyond ridiculous.

Holy shit. This is insanity. Alcaraz saves a match point, comes back to break, the breaks again at 6-5 to win the set and send this thing to a fifth.

It’s 2 a.m. and set 5 is just beginning. I wish I could watch, but I have to work tomorrow and I need some sleep. :(

They'll be at 134-134 in the tiebreak when you get up.
