Alcaraz wins in five sets, 6-3 in the final set, taking 5 hours 15 minutes. He’s played 9 hours in his last two matches.

Brilliant play by both right to the finish.

Iga -210 vs. Sabalenka +160? I’ll take this underdog all day long.

I got to watch Sabalenka in SJ last month, she’s wild and lost. Great she made Semis here but Iva is too consistent.

Jabeur is the first African woman to get to a US Open final. Ahistoric first.

In response to an idiotic question from Rennae Stubbs about what she thought while taking a bathroom break, Swiatek tells the crowd taking a shit was the key to winning.

After his charge did the same years ago, a coach told me,

"His balance will be much better now."

Missed the match because I was at a concert, but as the board's resident Ons stan, I'm thrilled. Saturday's going to be awesome.

You guys, here’s some trivia. There has never been a U.S. Open women’s final between two ladies with three-letter first names. History!

All I want to do for the next 10 years in tennis is watch Carlos Alcaraz play. I'm all in.
