Alcaraz is a tennis robot designed by Boston Dynamics, right?

There are a few players who run all over the place to get balls that look like sure-fire winners, but I’ve never seen anyone do it like Alcaraz. Phenomenal.

Ons is deep into her own head, like she realizes she has nothing in her arsenal to combat Iga, who is playing absolutely elite tennis right now. Impressive. I’m an Ons stan but this is over.

Iga was really good. Worthy champion.

Great win. Alcaraz is very easy to root for.

And nice of both finalists to mention 9/11.

What I enjoyed more than anything was see brilliant all court play from Alcaraz, not just bombs away from the baseline. The net play and attacks. Great for the sport.

I felt bad for Alcaraz. It felt a bit like he did it because Ruud had already done it. His heart may have been in the right place, but the problem was that he wanted to say something nice, but he didn't have the words in English to do it. I get that people were understanding because his English isn't that great, but my perception was that the way Ruud did it was incredibly polished, the way Alcaraz did it felt awkward after Ruud.

Well, the present/future has its Big 1. What 2-4 players will step up to the challenge?

    Medvedev? Sinner? Ruud?

Feel like Zverev, Tsitsipas, Norrie and Rublev are on that treadmill just one level below.
