Simultaneous executions, right? Do both contracts include provisions that reduce the buyout if the coach is whacked after Oct. 1? Or is that just the guy who conducted practices that were literally against public policy in Nebraska at the time? Or the coach who refused to get vaccinated in Alabama?

The weirdness continues. Eastern Kentucky prevails, 59-57, in seven overtimes, as they two-point converted themselves to death.

    Idaho leads Indiana, 10-0.

What a weird day of football.

That kid is really impressive. He made key plays all last season as a freshman. Sadly, this was wasted in a losing effort. Part of that was Slovis getting hurt. Part was the offensive line, which was supposed to be good, getting its ass kicked much of the day.

Pitt could very easily be 0-2 right now and they very badly need Slovis to return soon.

Idaho gave Washington State all it could handle last week, and had a chance to beat them on the final possession. Decent team they've got there.

If there was ever a week Kansas should call the Big Ten and ask to join, this would be it.
