Just heard Georgia Southern described as “a hurry up offense to the max.” And somewhere deep in the earth a tectonic plate began to slide.

Kentucky was ranked No. 7 in the country when they beat Florida in 1977. The Gators next opponent that season? Utah.

Not a great day for the SEC.
ATM loses a buy game to App. Say good night to the Aggies.
Florida, which was lucky to beat Utah in the opener, falls to Kentucky. That is most certainly not the result that conference HQ wanted.

Has anyone seen the Florida DL that checks in at 6’5……415 pounds?
I’ve sold cars before that weren’t that big.

Southern, with the ball at the LSU 10, called timeout with 1 second left while trailing 65-14. Then they kicked a field goal as thousands of gamblers, eyeing the 44-point spread, either rejoiced or punched a wall.

Yeah ... and Reveille. And everything else. Point being, their home crowd doesn't help them win. It's not a snake pit like the two Death Valleys, or the Swamp (which, come to think of it, isn't intimidating anymore). But the Aggies snarl and growl and snap every time someone suggest Kyle Field ain't all that.
