Gators went for it twice on fourth down and failed in the fourth quarter. The last time was from their own 24, with more than four minutes left while they still had three timeouts and trailed by 7. Just a stupid decision.

God, please let this guy be another Hal Mumme.

That guy is great. But Dan Dakich is still bitter. What about other fans of the team in Indy? Have they forgiven now that another good QB is in town?

Unfortunately, they were not joined by their team. A “mechanical issue” on the plane of the team that just beat Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University? Inquiring minds want to know.

Going for it on fourth down became his schtick at Louisiana. “Scared money don’t make money.” But he out-recruited the rest of the league, which goes a long way in titling percentages in your favor there.

I must say… for as jaded and cynical I have as my default, that was an incredible Saturday for the sport.

    Oh by the way …
TrueSouth’s season 5 premier is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight on the SEC Network. It will be preceded by the final episode of season 4, which is a “behind the scenes” type of thing.

A week late but found that clip with Wright narrating.

Nah, that’s just Florida State having a good open date.

Opinions on Luck seem to be about 50/50 among the Colts fans I grew up with who are all in our mid 40s. I haven't lived in Indy for a long time, so maybe there is a difference among those in town. Some are still really bitter about his decision. Most just get sad thinking about what could have been, but respect him. I love the guy and am still pissed that the Colts didn't prioritize a functional O line during his tenure.
