The Suns’ owner will be punished by being forced to have someone pay him a billion dollars. That poor, poor owner.

Odd fact about this -- Sarver only owns about 35% of the team, but since he is the controlling owner he's able to sell the whole thing -- not just his share. The minority owners are just along for the ride.

You get to coach the most storied franchise in sports and can't follow a simple rule.

Be interesting if the whole story gets out about the actors.

This is also another reason why the sale is going to happen, from what I've read. Other part-owners wanted him out.

That is also part of why it would be harder for the NFL to push Dan Snyder out. He owns 100 percent of the Commanders.

How Commanders owner Dan Snyder and the NFL's investigation could be impacted by Robert Sarver's sale of Suns

The founding owner of the Carolina Panthers was punished for his crappy behavior with a farewell gift of $2.25 billion. His fine for his inappropriate conduct? $2.75 million.
