Aren’t you assuming that — at the very least — a majority of his score-reporting is close to legitimate? If his reporting of golf scores resembles his truth-telling rate as president, what would his actual handicap be?

I think the 2.8 had to do with his best handicap ever, which would have been years ago ... I doubt seriously he's that low anymore (see above re: Father Time, etc.). So I don't know.

But your handicap is based only on a portion of your most recent (posted) scores. (In looking at my card, it's the 8 best of the most recent 20, though I think it's changed in recent years.) So if years ago, if he was cherry-picking for dick-measuring purposes, I think a 2.8 isn't all that outlandish. People who know his game (and I've seen his full swing a few times) are pretty consistent in saying he has (or had) better-than-decent game.

I will say this, though ... I'll do a $5 Nassau, with automatic one-down presses, if he wants to see how "his" 2.8 stacks up against my 9.1. He can pick the course and the tees ... but I wanna see his money first.
