She is far right, but the Hitler / Mussolini/ Nazi stuff is absurd. She's not a fascist dictator.

She's probably way more corrupt than she is ideological, if you look at the company she's keeping. How the hell is Silvio Berlusconi still wielding power?

Along the lines of one of the things you post about and have had an opinion about. ... she backs the West's policies regrading Ukraine and is on board with Italy supplying arms and support to Ukraine. That said, she may be saying something entirely different in 3 days; it seems to be her pattern. But so far, I'd say, let's see what she does? I see her as a direct response to the Mario Draghi-type politicians who fucked up Europe. People are suffering, so they are swinging to the other extreme the way they do.

 

It's difficult to argue against "post-fascist," given the roots of that Brothers of Italy stuff.

But I think people are reading way too many tea leaves on her and trying to paint her for their own purposes. This is what Italy does. They go through prime ministers like it is a bodily function, and it is probably the most ahistorical country in Europe. The people who voted for her had no clue who she may have said in 2012 of 2018 or even what she stands for. She was simply the "center right" candidate. To them, her sole qualification was that she isn't Mario Draghi.
