I wonder if we're going to get some half-measure like we did after Iraq I, where eventually the leader retreats with his tail between his legs and we don't finish the job.

Much different circumstances, of course, but I could see it happening for reasons outlined earlier in this thread.

 

I don't think Ukraine is going to stand down until they get their land back. Not unless the rest of Europe stops supporting them.

Yep, the Ukrainians built a sub, left the Black Sea, through the Med, Atlantic, North Sea, and into the Baltic!

Seriously, though, there are dumbasses who would believe it.

 

Apropos of nothing, I seem to be taking more note of posters' avatars, and wondered if you kept that sting ray in the photo, or if you did a catch and release? (I'm into marine life, and noticed the bobber and fishing line in the photo).

I'm also liking dixiehack's recently changed (I think) avatar, suggesting I "die mad about it."
