I wonder if DeSantis' embrace of assistance from a Democratic administration will come back to bite him with the base down the road, much as Chris Christie got bitten after Sandy.

I typically don't have a problem with off the record conversations and meetings. They often build to something on the record later.

But this feels too friendly, to me. As President, Obama's evaluation of Trump is critical insight. No one understands the position and the impact of someone's words or actions quite like the men who have sat in the Oval Office before. This is stuff that should have been on the record.

I'm sure conversations like these have been done with GOP pols, too. But this is the kind of shit that conservatives feast off of when they blame the 'liberal media'.

Try to find anyone over twelve or under sixty-four on there.

Aw bless. Paul and Linda in their wellies. Denny Laine is the honey badger of wet grass. Ashley MacIsaac's version is livelier, but I still love Sir Paul's cover.

Ohplease, ohplease, ohplease, let it be Bill Lee at Publix... Dang!

Joan Chen would eat him as an aperitif and then chase it with a snoot full of Ale8One to get the musty taste out of her mouth.

    Can’t believe the left, etc.

Seriously, talk about one of the dumbest, most galaxy-brained things ever posted here.

Who's gonna ride that freedom convoy
Who's gonna triple down on a mistake
Who wants to wear those damn red hats
All the way to Liar Lake
Who wants to break the news about uncle Don
    You remember uncle Don
He was the one who always said the news was fake
Who wants to tell poor Ivanka
Don's run off to Liar Lake
Don's run off to Liar Lake

Who wants to see to those racist faces
    Who wants a raise
    Who needs a steak
Who wants to vote for a long shot gamble
And head out to Liar Lake
    Head out
Who wants to go to Liar Lake
    And head out
Who wants to go to Liar Lake

How do you propose that works? “I know we agreed to off the record, but turns out this stuff is too good. Psyche.”

As for those crying “liberal media,” screw em. There is no appeasing that crowd.

Yes, interesting timing, right in the middle of Hurricane season. Very suspicious indeed.

I thought the sj.com stylebook demanded that McConnell's wife be insulted.
