The injury to Marte (.292/.347/.468, 16HR, 63RBI, 18SB, 76R in 118G) has basically halved that lineup.

Yup. That's the part people seem to forget. Marte was having a very good season.

Agreed. And I've watched so little of the Mets, it never registered.

Their lineup looks pretty soft to me. I’m a big Buck Showalter fan and I hope I’m wrong, but they could be a quick out with the way they’ve looked lately.

De Grom and Scherzer haven't been great lately. Should they return to form, the Mets will be a formidable opponent in a short series.

It comes with being more interested in fantasy baseball than rooting for any particular team. I end up somewhat familiar with what is going on with more players than I would otherwise, and I had Marte on one of my teams.

Judge gets #62 leading off against Rangers.

And some fool took a 10-foot leap over the rail thinking the ball would go into the no-man's land between the fence and the seats -- but the ball was (apparently) caught by a fan in the first row of seats.
