Yeah I dont know how you put that guy on TV. Especially when 4 of your top stars have been shelved for a month for brawling and some of them may be litigating.

Kahn and AEW now have no leg to stand on in court, right?

Andrade started it on Twitter and in real life, from the sound of things, and apparently Sammy was very careful about not instigating and not throwing any punches.

That's where the line is, and that seems appropriate.

 

Well they suspended Chris Daniels and a buncha bystanders in the Bucks/Punk brawl pending the investigation so even if Sammy threw no punches I don’t know how you complete an investigation in about 45 minutes.

Its inconsistent at best and if Punk doesnt like his settlement and sues I think they’re porked. Which is even more reason to punish Sammy, like dude you know the microscope we’re under right now and you instigate this?!

 

I thought Andrade started it on a Spanish-language podcast and then Sammy escalated it on Twitter.

They need to live the old Memphis maxim of “Personal Issues Draw Money.”

WWE announces updates to commentary teams

Lots of changes to the broadcast crews:
- Raw goes from 3-man to 2-man booth, with Kevin Patrick moving up to PbP with Graves, Byron going backstage and Jimmy Smith is out.
- SD gets Wade Barrett on commentary with Cole. Looks like a temp thing for the fall while Pat is with ESPN.
- Cole and Graves will do the premium events.
- NXT gets Booker T (ugh) on commentary with Vic.
- Cathy Kelley returns as backstage reporter on Raw with Byron. Sarah Schreiber is out. Kayla and Megan Morant backstage for SD.

I'll be curious to see how Kevin Patrick does on PbP. I know he's been doing one of the C-level shows, and he also is (was?) the Bally Sports PbP guy for Atlanta United.

I love Wade as color on NXT. He had a great rapport with Vic Joseph and Beth when she was still there.

Sorry, but I'm already grimacing at the thought of Booker on regular color with NXT.
