I don't know Mel Kiper's track record and I'm not interested in going through the numbers. He seems to be mildly successful, though, otherwise he wouldn't have stayed on ESPN for 40 years with a face made for radio and a voice made for... something.

The Democratic Party does not do well playing prevent defense. See 2016 POTUS election. These guys need to go on the offensive.

I think the conversion where I live in Canada is about 7.50 per gallon.

 

Kiper was never very good at predictions, but he was a great source of accessible information 40 years ago when there weren't many sources of information about NFL draft projects available to fans. That has become a lot less important now, with that information available through many different sources.

Regarding your other point, I agree. Democrats haven't been nearly aggressive enough. That has been a problem for a long time.
