Petros had/has relatives in Microville and is a regular on the local sports talk radio show, coming on 3-4 times a year. He is a great guy, knows his stuff and always jokes about how he got knocked out and lost his only career fumble in the 2000 USC-Microville Tech game here.

He has that rumpled look and reminds me of Norm on "Cheers." And P & M is a solid show.

Forget the Wolverines and Spartans. The entirety of Michigan is eagerly awaiting the battle of Ypsilanti vs. Kalamazoo today. (And some of the weirdest city names of any state.)

Just checked. Despite meeting for the first time in 1912, they've played each other only 53 times.

SJSU might be decent. It won easily at Wyoming last week; the QB is solid, a transfer from Hawaii, where he was pretty good for an awful team.

If GameDay runs as late as usual, the feature attraction will be two drives old by the time they predict a winner.

LSU’s special teams are a damn toxic waste dump.

Michigan RB coach Mike Hart carted off field after apparent collapse on sideline in Bloomington. Delay of several minutes before he's taken off, but he does appear conscious as he's driven into the locker room.

You'd think EMU/WMU would be kind of a big deal in MAC land, but EMU has never been consistently decent long enough to become anybody's traditional rival.

WMU and CMU were both fairly good in the 70s-90s so their annual showdown became something of a thing.

Good God, Oklahoma has retreated like the Russian army in its past three games. Texas is making a mockery of the Red River Shootout in the second quarter.
