They're younger than every Triple-A team. They overachieved wildly. The front office considered this a rebuilding year.

With the shadows at Progressive Field, this one could go 18 innings.

Shades of Mussina vs. Nagy in the 1997 ALCS.

The batters cannot see the ball. Stuff right down the middle and they’re swinging through it.

    Even Steven Kwan struck out.

I think he has to be the career loss leader with 8. He is the career Series start leader with 22, and none of the guys right behind him have that many losses. Here's one you might like. He's a Hall of Fame pitcher from the days when wins were totally seen as a pitcher's top stat. He had 11 Series starts. His ERA was 0.97 and his WHIP o.86. Yet Christy Mathewson's Series won-loss record was 5-5.

Jose Ramirez with an incredible defensive play to save the game.

Until the shadows go away, this is next to impossible to see the ball.

Meanwhile, the team will be gathering at Chase Center tonight at 7 to sing "Kumbayah."

The home plate umpire is incompetent.

He called a strike on a 1-1 pitch that almost hit Gimenez.

We’re gonna be here a while.

Has a two-time Cy Young winner ever pitched against his former team in the playoffs?

    Kluber in.

    Marquette's own Adam Hamari! /upthreadjack

His family owns a paint store downtown. I haven't watched a lot of this game — is the strike zone just too big or is it inconsistent, and how much of this is that nobody can see the damned ball right now?
