Can’t root for a team with Harper (and no I’m not relitigating that discussion) and the Padres can suck it, so I’m left to hope the Braves can oust everyone. After that, I just don’t want to see the Astros but I couldn’t care less who wins as long as the Dodgers don’t.

I usually root for the asteroid when Braves-Phillies play. But that racist chant and chop seem worse every year. So fuck them.

I’m ok with the Pods and Mariners.

Would it be asking too much for FS1 to run updates on Phils-Braves?

Someone should tell the geniuses at Fox that overlaying the yellow logo over the score/inning bug in the Phil-Atl game isn't a good idea. Since you can't tell what inning it is.

In postseason series pairing teams separated by ≥ 10 regular-season wins, the team with the better regular-season record has won nearly two-thirds of the time.
This year's Division Series are ugly on paper. The higher seeds collectively won 59 more games than the underdogs. That's the biggest discrepancy in the DS era. In three of the four series, the superior team finished ≥ 14 games ahead of the opponent in the league-wide standings. It's exaggerated by the upsets in the preliminary round, but not by much.

excellent defensive baseball, in this game. The tag on Betts is an all-timer.

The 2020 title has a major asterisk since they only played less than 40 percent of the regular season. San Diego or Seattle winning would be very cool.
