As dorky as it sounds, I wish there were much more fulness in all the narratives about the economics of the empire. It would explain a lot of things.

I can appreciate a slow burn when it actually has something to say and when the characters are compelling. I do.

Andor isn't really doing that for me. It's just a lot of navel gazing. Somebody wake me when something actually happens.

The first four episodes were slow and probably could’ve been better as three. But the new one definitely hit stride. Very good and intense from start to finish. Best of the bunch by far.

I haven't watched it yet, but if they didn't actually get things moving, I was thinking about dropping the show.

YMMV but I thought it was great.

I agree. I just wish they had done a little less meandering to get there.

This is turning out to be prophetic. It is very well made. The cast is good. Two familiar faces showed up this week and they were both excellent. By its very nature, the show is slow. While that is certainly fitting for the story and themes, it can get boring.

This evening I watched most of the animated Tales of the Jedi shorts that dropped yesterday. They are so much more entertaining than Andor, but way too short.

I’ve watched the animated stuff here and there. Need to commit at some point. The short Tales of the Jedi might be a good way to go for me.

Andor is definitely slower, but I like it. Lots of tension and political drama, which appeals to me. The most recent prison episode was very good. Aspects of the universe not seen before.

The two big-names in the episode were great too.

Some of the shorts tie more closely into the animated series. Some really don't. They primarily focus on Ahsoka Tano and Dooku, the latter during his time as a Jedi.
