    Procol Harum had one of the best drummers in rock n roll in BJ Wilson, but the band's sound was so full, his beats didn't stand out most of the time. Here's a tune that's something of a showcase for him.

    1. I was working for a different FM 95 then, Quick-95 (KUIC 94.7) and thankfully I could mute the station until the jock signaled me for the news intro.

    2. Most stations where I worked either automatically started the aircheck when you opened the mic switch or had a cassette recorder connected to the board so you could save your newscasts. That sounds more like a homemade recording with the songs edited down.

    This is actually fucking brilliant.

    The dirty secret to mash-ups, however, is that any two songs in the same time and same key can be mashed-up easily. Digital compression technology makes it that much simpler.
