I wish all baseball series were five games. So shoot me.

The Guardians are going to lose this series, but damn this team can pitch.

Don't be so sure about that. The rainout hurt the Yankees badly since the final four games will be without an off day

Braves-Phillies are in the second inning, but do we know that by watching Guardians-Yankees? And why?

Different outlets. If Braves-Phillies were on TNT, then yes, we would know. But it's on FS1.

True. But that doesn't prevent a score crawl on NFL games, nor cross-promotion of when and where games are on.

But I'm old enough to remember when the 10-Minute Ticker was considered revolutionary.

Probably not in the contracts like they are with the NFL. You see cross-promotional stuff for NFL every week.

And the 10-Minute Ticker was great, though it seemed it only happened once every 20-30 minutes.

Although it's been said many times, many ways, if there's a way to shoot itself in the foot, baseball will find it. If you're a fan of the Braves or Phils, you're there. A casual fan may not.
