The worst pop song ever

Hi - I can't determine whether I like or loathe this. I lean more toward "like" - I suppose it's what the song would have sounded like, had it been released in the same era as Interpol.

 

The definitive ear worm "POP" song.

 

I remember that one! Wasn't that the same era as "switched-on Bach" such as this:

 

Anything by Gilbert O'Sullivan is automatically on this list.

 

I'm glad I never heard that song before.
And I plan on never hearing it again.

 

It’s terrible.

I never realized this until now; the strength of Journey is how clearly you can hear each instrument in the song. Journey was great at riffs. From the lead guitar to the bass to the keyboards, each one is so distinctive in their music. Shitty music has the bassist hitting the same notes 10-12 times in a row, doing an odd note, then back to 10-12 notes.

Some people might hate Journey, but their music isn’t shitty.
