Is it me, or is it getting harder and harder to find OPS included in the general stats for a hitter

God is not subtle about not wanting Cleveland to win a baseball championship. The rain in 2016 and now rain to replenish a depleted Yankee bullpen are just spiteful.

It also gives Bieber a chance to make an impact if needed

Complete reckless speculation on my part:

Given Bieber is a Rosenhaus client who will likely be traded after next season (and if Cleveland could take the PR hit would probably be dealt this offseason to maximize return), I don’t think he’ll pitch on a minute less than his normal rest. I get the vibe he has zero interest in staying in Cleveland. He’s polite about it, like Lindor. But I think when Tito is talking about “protecting his players” it’s code for Bieber and his agent (Wyrick) communicating that Bieber doesn’t pitch on short rest.

As a third shifter, this move to an afternoon game is perfect, though. I’ll get to watch it rather than listening while working.

SoCal kid, who played at UCSB. The Mariners could really use a legit #1 starter.

About the 8:15 mark. If that's not a bat flip, then we disagree on what a bat flip is. After posing and watching it, he practically flung his bat into the dugout. And I never said they were losing. I said they lost.

And yeah, I'm wondering if you've been watching the series, since you said Gimenez ran all the way on his ball in Game 4. He didn't. He stopped and headed back to first, before starting back to second. If he ran all the way he'd have been there standing up.

You just make shit up, don't you? At least you did it in fewer than 25,000 words.

I have no idea why you are being that argumentative or are trying to insult me.

I was saying that Gimenez was running out the box. Of course he rounded first and was going to head back, then he saw the ball bobbled and kept going. My point then (as it is now) is that he was running hard out of the box, which was what led to him standing on second (unlike say Anthony Rizzo on his ball that landed fair while he stood there watching). In my post, I was comparing it to a couple of instances of Yankees players not running hard out of the box. You are trying to create arguments. Few people except you and whatever echo chamber you are yelling into are comparing anything about any of Harrison Bader's home runs in this series to the clown show from Josh Naylor on his home run. He was running around the bases like a buffoon in a cartoonish way, yelling "He's my fucking son" and pointing at the pitcher. You're trying to force a ridiculous equivalency whether I point it out to you in 3 words or 25,000 words.

So, a video of some Padre fans on a morning news show is making the rounds on Twitter. The city of San Diego and the Friar fanbase should be shriveling in embarrassment. I refuse to post it here, but go to Twitter; you'll know it when you see it.
