Not if Larkin doesn’t knock the puck away
    It’s 5-3 then

Puck drop at 8:47 local time on a Wednesday in October. Good thing the live gate doesn’t matter in this league.

Ok we’re splitting hairs here but Larkin did not force OT. Larkin makes OT possible, but Sundstrom’s goal (I think that’s who scored anyway) forces OT.

Apparently the deal is that the advertisers who paid for space on the physical boards get at least some digital representation. Otherwise there’s no way I’d expect Vanderbilt Medical Center and the Tennessee Lottery to have virtual ads in rotation on a national broadcast.

The Bruins are going all out on offense. Defense be damned. Fun to see how that works out.

When do they get Charlie McAvoy back?

No time soon I don’t think. Same with Marchand.

Here to say Kuznetsov's suspension was absolutely deserved. You can't swing a stick like a baseball bat at someone's face and not pay the price, even if Burroughs is an agitator. If it was three games, I wouldn't have complained either.

Burroughs has played so few games in the NHL how does have a reputation as an agitator? He’s not Alex Burrows.

Ducks are the same. They meet tomorrow in Boston. When was the last time both teams scored in double digits??

The Yankees rain out allowed me to watch the whole Rangers-Ducks game.

That team is going to have a lot of problems this year. Defensively, let's just say there are issues. The broadcasting team in New York kept pointing to them being undersized, but there is actually some size there. What there was none of, was any physicality. They played a really timid game and were getting pushed around. I was feeling sorry for Gibson by the time they yanked him.

I realize I am talking from a sample size of one game, but my thought was that they kind of screwed up in the offseason. They are rebuilding and have a lot of talented, but very young players up front who are going to make mistakes. So they weren't going to win yet either way, as good as Zegras and McTavish and Drysdale might turn out to be. I would have tried to fill in more of the roster with checking line types of players and tried to get at least one or two big stay at home defensemen, even if they are middling. I now question how much sense Ryan Strome made for that team at this point in time, but certainly I would have forgone John Klingberg. Great puck handler, but not what they needed on defense at this point in their development.
