Maybe don't boo the guy off the mound, Phillies fans. He might have to pitch again this year. This is why you're all horrible garbage people.

While the ALCS is laying a steaming pile of dogshit, the NLCS has been entertaining as hell.

Yeah, NLCS is great. And yeah, 100-win Dodgers, Braves and Mets are out. But it's not like the Padres and Phillies are outta nowhere. Both were expected to be good this year.

This is not a very good Yankee team. The outcome is not all that surprising.

Well, I know why Bobby Moynihan left SNL now ... he's pitching for San Diego.

As a Giants fan, I justify rooting for the Astros by saying I'm rooting for Dusty Baker.

True. They won 99 games and that lineup isn’t particularly terrifying on paper. Kind of a commentary on the punchless offense that defined the season across the sport.

They were 61-23 on the morning of July 9 and finished 38-40, then barely got by the Clevelands and laid an egg in the ALCS so far.

Despite flailing desperation moves, NYY not getting blown out by Houston, this isn't the Astros of Springer and Correa. But as Judge goes, so go the Yankees -- reminds me of Winfield's 1 for 22 in 1981 WS. NYY hurt by the absences of Lemahieu, as well as Hicks and Carpenter as LH component of the lineup. Donaldson is beyond done. The bottom of the lineup a black hole at the worst time. Cole rarely the ace he needs to be and misses in the zone so lots of HRs.

Doesn't get better as team is aging. Cabrera, though, could be the regular position player NY rarely develops.

Judge just went through the type of fishbowl that made Roger Maris literally lose his hair -- except it was worse in this digital age.

I can't say I'm real shocked that his fuel gauge is running near "E."
