I looked up Dave Logan... he's 68. Unless you have a preordained head coach in waiting, why would you make that hire?

Who among us -- or anywhere for that matter -- would have guessed Paul Chryst would be whacked before Bryan Harsin?

I mentioned it upthread. It won't happen. If it did, it would have been 10-15 years ago. He's got too many good gigs going on to take that on. And it'd be a bad move for CU.

A year ago, he was said to be one of the next big things.
Beware that job. The school is one of those that thought it was too good for what used to be a standard apprenticeship in the FCS. Kept promoting itself and getting promoted without merit.

Are A&M big money boosters actively looking through the cushions for the 86 million it takes to fire Dumbo?

No, they are going to manipulate the price of oil going up like 20 dollars a barrel so it's just extra money in their accounts by Tuesday

Wasn't Charlotte FCS for only a couple of years, basically the warm-up period before actually starting "regular" play?

Sounds like he has future Alabama senator written all over him.

So AD John Cohen is going from one SEC school (Cowbell U) to another (Dysfunction Junction of The Plains). Of the 13 full-time AD gigs in the current SEC, four are held by people who were poached directly from another conference member. Mississippi State has lost its past two ADs (Stricklin to Florida in 2016) to fellow SEC members.
