Biden starts his speech
Agents lock all the doors and start blasting
All the Democrats
Many Republicans, including guys like Mitch, McCarthy, Cruz and Graham
The shooting stops
The doors open
Trump emerges and give his SOTU with dead bodies on the floor of the House

Who will the WH press corps and punditry blame when the GOP-led House ensures NOTHING gets done? I'm guessing it won't be the House.

After Oz did the “local politician” line, Dems should be lining up various dog catchers, meter maids and sidewalk inspectors and have them do an ad in which they say they’ll allow women to have abortions.

Just mock the absurdity of Oz’s statement for the next two weeks.

 

Agreed. Nothing will get done. We'll have to endure some government shutdowns so the GOP can pretend they're trying. I expect a sham impeachment. Lots and lots of Benghazi! style hearings.

... and a tax cut for those who need it least, like myself.

Inevitably the economy will turn itself around, and the GOP will ensure us it was all because they took control of the house. I suspect it will also be a very bad time for Ukrainians, but hey: at least I'll get mine!

 

I'm just saying that things were really down and out around this biker bar about two years ago and a discussion of the artistic merits of Journey broke out - and everything suddenly shifted. I fuckin watched it happen.
