    Remember the semiconductor shortage?

    It's now a giant glut of unsold inventory as consumer demand is falling off a cliff into a slowing global economy. The shortage itself was because they pulled so much demand forward with all the "stimulus" the pandemic gave the excuse to unleash, at the same time that moving things around was a challenge.

    The sudden reversal of the global chip shortage

    Of course that still leaves us with the debt from the $250 billion + of graft and corporate welfare (more than $50 billion of subsidies to a hand-picked industry) from the chips bill they passed.

    We all pay the price for these things.

    Part of the chip bill was to get the chips built here in case Taiwan is taken off the board for us, isn’t it?

    It’s insurance against a China-U.S. cold war.

    I know all the chips in our medical tables are Taiwanese.
