Yeah, but my fellow Gen X’ers are now a favorable demographic for voting Republican. Maybe it’s a good thing there aren’t so many of us after all.

 

Is it voting FOR the republicans. Or AGAINST the democrats?

 

Odd how their hero tough guy leaders are never strong enough to stop such thefts from occurring....

 

One problem here is trying to boil down his motivation to one factor. It can be driven by both politics and insanity. I believe that is the case. In fact, this is exactly the concern with Republicans publicly inciting violence, that people who are vulnerable to manipulation due to their mental illnesses will act on those words.

 

Start at the two-minute mark if you want, but much of this still holds up. Watch to the end and maybe that is where Republicans got the idea that every Democrat is coming for their guns?

Seriously, change a few words and everything Sorkin wrote then is still true today.

 

That is one of the many sick and amazing things about the Trump cult. They worship him because they believe he is tough and brilliant. Yet he loses at every turn and is not smart enough to do anything about it. That makes them love him more.
