For our Auburn experts - Is Coach Prime a candidate?

The danger of coaching at Auburn is that if your number is too high, you KNOW they will start sniffing around for "cause" after you lose your second game. You thatget canned because you don't win enough? Fine, you go grab a job at a G5 school that will roll out the red carpet, you get dinged with a "for cause" in the press release and you'll have to sit out a year or two.

If you get whacked at Auburn after 16-20 games, they're probably doing you a favor by putting you out of your misery. Take the $20 million buyout and run, fast.

I watched a clip with Paul Finebaum and someone else. They seemed to think Hugh Freeze will get the job. Freeze has defeated Nick Saban twice and Finebaum seems to think Auburn will overlook certain behavioral issues in Freeze's past.

One of the hot rumors is that they're looking at Lane Kiffin. I guess the fastest way to climb the ladder in the SEC West is to loot the competition.

Curious picture choice from Auburn for the graphic announcing John Cohen's hire. Is this trolling or clueless?

Would it really have been that tough photo shopping a navy blazer and orange tie on a pic, like they do with baseball players after a trade?

Or not including a national championship ring clearly marked with a rival school's logo?

Crazy stat, Auburn has won 19 of its 22 NCAA championships (im throwning in the 2010 football title) since 2000. They've done well in swimming, women's equestrian,

Don't know why they feel like a national championship ring (MSU's ONLY TITLE EVER) and in baseball at that - is supposed to impress people.

Yeah, he is, but I don't know how serious a candidate he is. Or rather, I don't know how serious the boosters are about actually hiring him instead of talking about it. I'd bet they make Lane Kiffen and Hugh Freeze say no first, and I don't think Freeze will if he is offered.
