    You do realize he can be mentally ill and motivated by politics, right? The two aren't mutually exclusive. It just shows one of the dangers of the lies told by so many Republicans regarding the 2020 election and the calls for violent action by some of them. People with vulnerable minds like DePape's can be driven to take that violent action.

    The lesson is a man who was mentally vulnerable was driven to violent action by politics, specifically the false claims about fraud in the 2020 election and the calls for violent action by some Republicans.

    That’s all true, but FYI: As recent as yesterday, the leader of the GOP is sharing on social media pictures and messaging which seem to endorse Q, the particular brand of crazy that consumed this specific idiot.

    Does it concern you that some large percentage of the Right is willing to endorse, pander to, or fan the flames of this particular brand of crazy?
