I get the feeling the Colts will keep slogging along to make it just interesting enough, plus it's the NFL and they might get another gift or two like the one the Chiefs gave them. So maybe you get to the last game with a chance to hedge?

Normally I would post a link to 'Total Loss Weekend' by Don DeLillo here, but SI no longer allows it.

I won't be in a legal state until about Week 15.... let's see if they can hang on until then!

No on California 26 (sports gambling at Indian casinos): 70.4%

No on prop 27 (online sports gambling via agreements with Indians): 83.4%

    83.4%!!!
Hitler could run for office and get better than 16.4% approval!!

Both of these props were horribly written, terrible pieces of "legislation".

    I voted no on both.

Yeah, that's nuts. You'd think they could just run ads showing weekend traffic from L.A. to Vegas and pull a better percentage.

Just my opinion, shaded to my biases:
26: nobody wants to drive to Morongo or Agua Caliente to place a sports bet.

27: Nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to spend another penny on homeless. Attaching homeless to that prop made it dead on arrival.
Instead of homeless, they should have earmarked the money to potholes.

I don't bet much, but some neighborhood guys and I are headed to a casino down the road this weekend, so I'll spend some time in the book.

A few games got my attention.

    LSU -3

    LSU/ARK under 64

    Tennessee -19

    Ole Miss +11.5

    UGA -16

    TCU +7
