I just saw a Dodge commercial from 1986. It offered 6.8% interest on new trucks.
I'm pretty sure that was dead smack in the middle of St. Ronnie's second term, so shouldn't we have had negative interest rates where American automakers were giving away trucks and paying you for the honor of driving them?

An uninspiring week as I look at the choices.

Democrats keeping those interest rates up to keep people paying rent and not buying a house, so they are oblivious to property taxes. Republicans running on nothing but "I'm not Biden" and trying to think that people really want abortion bans.
