If I did this correctly through baseball reference, the answer appears to be one no-hitter for every 674 games (302 in 203,486) and a newly minuted and perhaps misleading figure of one postseason game of every 580 (3 in 1,741). Before last night, of course, the postseason figure was one of every 870.5.

 

Even in Little League tournament play, pitch count is kept on the scoreboard.

When I played Little League 100 years ago, they counted innings and pitchers couldn’t go over a set number per week or pitch on consecutive days. Today, they count pitches and managers with a big lead will pull their pitcher one short of the limit so they can use him again sooner.

David Robertson in to ice the Astros victory. This is remarkably like last year's ALCS. The Red Sox blasted the Astros in Game Three, took a 2-1 lead, and couldn't hit a lick thereafter.
