We KNOW what a Republican Congress will be like because we've seen this movie. It'll be endless efforts to prevent the government from functioning plus hours of hearings which will feature nothing but Republicans competing to see who can get the most Fox clips of them screaming at Biden administration officials. Oh, yeah, and the debt ceiling crisis, which Joe Manchin has already indicated he supports. All this stuff has happened before in 2010-2016.

LOL. This is when we should start seeing real-estate signs on Mehmet Oz's Pennsylvania properties.

PS: Reliable Democratic observers of the Senate told Talking Points Memo that there is zero chance the Democrats will raise the debt limit in the lame duck session. So they might as well prepare for decades of being a very small minority party after either 1. They suicidally agree to Republican demands in 2023 or there's a default and the financial system crashes. I can accept their cowardice, but I have a tough time handling their stupidity. I get why voters never expect anything, good or bad, to really come out of Washington until it actually happens, but it's discouraging that people who get paid to look ahead just won't do so.

Crenshaw has been very consistent in recent months about this because it's convenient to be consistent. We're not in primary season anymore, and most of the voters in that district won't remember his rambling come 2024.

Thinking of the Liberty Mutual bowling commercial ... "We're not countin' that ..."

I'd substitute K. McCarthy in the analogy, but yes

Watched the first minute of the video. Meh. He may be running in '24 but the video was iMovie-level production and not that inspiring.

And if that is the kickoff to '24, would love to know the exact why(s) cuz if you come at the king you best not miss.

Chris Christie's best chance was '12 then he became an afterthought 4 years later. Wonder if '24 > '28 is what spurred DeSantis.
