    Thank God for Pro Football Reference. You can punch in a year and get every NFL player born in that year. Here's the list of guys either 72 or will be by the end of the year:

    Some are already gone (Boobie Clark, for example) But it looks like the best of them still living are Jack Youngblood and Franco Harris

    Won't threadjack, but when I said "great football name" I had an old memory of watching a Colts game as kid. Ken Stabler in the booth. And he went on and on about Colts lineman Ben Utt having the shortest name in football. He loved it.

    Remember him being a solid pro. Spanned the Baltimore-Indy move. Played with a couple of other great linemen in Ray Donaldson and Chris Hinton.

    And got to block for Eric Dickerson after that stunning 1987 trade.
