Ukraine Always Get What You Want

OK, so yes Putin is capable of using nukes. What are we to do?
Jumping in to aid Ukraine pre-nuking would certainly draw a nuclear response. And believing that won't happen falls into the same trap being laid out here.
Suing for peace gives Putin a win and is kowtowing to the nuclear threat.
Arming and training Ukrainians is what we are doing now and eliciting a nuclear threat that we now have to take seriously.
What are we to do? Preemptively nuke Russia?

 

Can we turn the clock back 40 years and knock off Putin instead of trying to knock off Gadhafi?

 

Absolutely no. Call Putin's bluff and make him pop the first nuke.

It's just like Lexington in 1775. Make the Brits fire the first musket and they're tyrants. If the Americans fire first, they're just brigands.

 

Sounds like it's really not just Putin/Russia that we have to worry about now.
