Kotek leads and most of the uncounted votes are in dark blue Multnomah County. We should be OK.

If the GOP can't win an Oregon governorship this year, it can't ever win. If that idiot Betsy Johnson sits out Kotek would have about 53-54% of the vote.

If the Dems hang on in Arizona and Nevada, would the Republicans even invest in a meaningless runoff?

It's so telling for a variety of reasons that should turn people off, but amazingly it doesn't. If you want a president who is principled and stands for something (that you believe in too), he or she would only endorse candidates he or she believes in and thinks are best for the country, even if if they end up losing. All he cares about is, "Am I going to endorse the person who ends up winning." He stands for nothing except his own self aggrandizement, and worse, the things that give him his woody are so vapid and meaningless. He's just terrible.

    Yes for two reasons.
One because Manchin has voted against Democrats so they can get his vote from time to time.
Two because it's a 6-year seat and in two years, Republicans will likely flip Montana, could flip Arizona and Nevada and could possibly target Manchin. So it behooves them to have as many in the bank pre 2024.

It’s not as large as it needs to be, but there is a loose “sanity caucus” against the worst of Trumpism that’s apparently held up two elections running. If it is Trump vs DeSantis one on one then Trump is cooked. If it is another demolition derby with a dozen or more credible candidates, he can ride his 30 percent back into the general election.

Oh, hell's yeah. Giving Warnock six years instead of a GOP Stepin Fetchit? I expect the GOP to be out in full force from here until Xmas.

Is Whitmer the future for the Democrats? Rang up a big night very quietly.

They moved up the runoff date to Dec. 6. I think early voting begins as soon as next week.

Dems have a narrow path to keeping control of the House. Which is incredible. New York’s redistricting has hurt pretty bad though. The opposite of the Florida gerrymandering.

Hopefully Dems can hold on in AZ, NV and win the GA runoff to have a 51 Senate. If for no other reason than to keep confirming judges. And keeping Turtle out of power, of course.

I sure hope so. We're leaving for DeSantisWorld in three weeks and barely have enough time to pack our handguns, ammo and chloroquine, let alone hope Louis DeJoy's USPS can find us in time.
