So, they just don’t allow Herschel to be by himself in any interview and he has to be accompanied by another Senator? Do they have a signup sheet and everyone has to take a shift like selling Girl Scout cookies?

Cook is good at counting numbers - donations, votes - not so great at predicting races, they were part of the red wave crowd. Really wouldn't be that hard to figure out a candidate isn't that well supported if most of their money is coming from out of state, or they lack a decent-size volunteer base, which are better indicators than simply cash on hand. Seems pretty clear the R's "bought" a lot of their predictions of succes based on throwing money at races.

Looks like Boebert’s lead has grown. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

On the bright side, since she got more votes after election night, we can all claim that her victory was rigged.

She's on notice for 2024. If she's too dumb to keep a lower profile and boost her constituent services, she'll get broomed in a higher turnout presidential year.

    Exactly.

Don’t penalize our generation for being able to shut the fuck up and stop whining every now and then.

Up to a 1,122 vote lead this morning, but still within what would be an automatic recount.

The great thing about redistricting is it requires some members of Congress that they actually have to be responsive to voters. Nice to see a number of competitive races this year.

I think military, police and fire training should cost $15,000 per year and last four years.

Police denied reports that a second fan hurled a can from in front of the senator's car.

Sparty, not to be that guy but I think our country was more divided (literally) in 1861-65 than it is today.

And Maumann is correct about 1968. Maybe the worst year in this country in the last 150 years.
