I get the special counsel points, logically, and hopefully it won't change anything, if there are consequences coming. This is exactly why he announced his run this week, to delay delay delay as he's been doing with everything for years. And it's been working.

But anyone actually think this will take the "politics" out of anything that might happen? Of course not. So it seems pointless.

Laettner's got two NCAA titles, a POY honor, a gold medal, made millions of dollars, is in three HOFs and played 13 years in the NBA. Most importantly, he doesn't seem to GAF about what anybody thinks about him. He'll survive this.

I think we can feel comfortable in summarizing the aftermath of the mid-term elections now:

1. some normalcy returned to the US election system;
2. election deniers were rejected in almost all critical elections;
3. Trumpism is alive but no longer has the support of moderates and key swing votes; and
4. Georgia STILL hates democracy so much that a near majority of voters are willing to vote Walker, the abortionist, the fake student, the fake sheriff, as one of our 100 Senators.
