I went to a futbol match ... and a Big XII football game broke out.

Making my once every four years foray into the world of soccer, I ask just one thing from our national team: Don’t finish last in our group.

At least we made the tournament this time and I won’t have to root for Croatia

 

Could be worse. Your team could be shit on here by everyone a) because of a rivalry and b) an unfortunate insistence of fans to shout a slur during matches.

 

I’m enjoying the “Louis van Gaal” with the phlegmy “Gaal” pronunciation.

 

This is why local TV should never fall into the “wouldn’t it be fun to have everyone make picks” trap

 

I wonder how many FOX execs are shitting their pants because they have to show Senegal-Netherlands futbol rather than Judge Judy.
