I don't think the FIFA fix is in as far as anti-American sentiment goes, but I certainly Middle Eastern teams are getting favor to get results at this WC, no matter whose expense it comes at.
Wales getting the time and calls it needed to equalize against the US, and Iran getting 13 minutes of stoppage time to beat Wales... come on.
    The group table should be:
    England - 4
    US - 4
    Iran - 1
    Wales - 1

When was the last time the U.S. beat a World Cup-level team in a match outside the U.S.? When was the last time it happened in a non-friendly? Has either happened under Berhalter? Iran will be playing for a 0-0 draw.

Qatar, who got a major screw job on a non pk call in a 0-0 game, may be interested in your conspiracy theories.

Looked up a lot as I was playing blackjack today and it felt like the U.S. was more crisp today than against Wales, many chances to score. Look, if you said you get a point out of this, we'll take it. But Tuesday will be super intense.

There are no conspiracy theories where FIFA is concerned, only envelopes of cash!

Have you seen how much stoppage time has been given in other games?

Those two saves by the Polish keeper ... wow.

No, that was true. Even if the U.S. had lost yesterday, they'd be on one point needing to beat Iran to advance. Same as with the draw. The only thing the draw did was prevent England from advancing yesterday.

    Right now the table sits

    England 4
    Iran 3
    US 2
    Wales 1

US beats Iran goes to 5. Wales can’t catch them and Iran is stuck on 3. So yeah, US controls its own destiny to advance.

Right, but Fox said the U.S. controlled its own destiny against Iran regardless of its result against England. If the U.S. lost to England and beat Iran, and Wales beat England, it would come down to GD.
