    I was radio play-by-play guy. It was a decent enough broadcast, even interviewed 76ers GM Jim Lynam at halftime. Didn’t feel like I deserved dog food.

    Before the season, if someone had said the New Jersey Devils would lead league’s standings at the quarter pole, I’d said no way

    FYI, the "quarter pole" is not one-fourth of the way through a race. It means there's a quarter-mile to the finish line, regardless of how long the race is.

    Speed. ... and they are on the puck constantly. They dominate transitions and they don't let up.

    They have had 6 top 10 picks in the last decade, 4 of which were top 5 picks, 2 of which were number 1 picks. It's all coming together in a big way. 10 of their forwards are home grown.

    I hate the Devils, but they are a fun team to watch.
