That's what makes the NCAA investigation into Tennessee so hysterical. They're about to drop the hammer on them for stuff that's perfectly legal now. When they get suspended it'll be like Craig getting fired on his day off in "Friday."

I have to ask these days. Are we sure that’s real? Horribly written, ugly in appearance and disdainful to the current conference, it might be the worst institutional statement ever.

If I was the Colorado athletic director, the moment Deion was talking, publicly, about CU offering him the job, I would have pulled the offer.

This is pretty good. Sorry I couldn't get it to embed. Basically, Rob Jay (from the whole "code switching" video from a couple months ago) busts Deion's balls a bit about the Colorado talk.

First, it was the advent of the early signing period and ability for athletes to enroll in January. Stanford does not even accept students before the spring, let alone let enroll early.

Then it was the transfer portal. Stanford rarely accepts transfers, and certainly not for athletic reasons.

I'm starting to think schools are done with Deion.
Georgia Tech, located in the city of Sanders' greatest achievements, took a pass on him. When the base revolted against hiring Fritz, Tech decided it would rather promote the assistant than hire Deion. (Promoting the assistant also tells us their two-month search didn't attract much interest.)

That’s if the offer was made. Deion would never play fast and loose with facts. You’d figure CU would’ve denied it, but maybe the admin thought it’d get the boosters going or something? It’d be such a bad fit.

I cannot imagine a worse fit for Georgia Tech than Deion. That was never going to happen. And no chance he takes the Colorado job.

Deion to South Florida makes a lot more sense.
