My fairly-likable-in-real-life friend who is SOCIAL MEDIA MAGA has gone from being quiet on Twitter for months around the midterms to, in the last two weeks, aggressively blaming and blasting Biden every chance he gets, about 4-5 times a day on Twitter. He did a week of "DESANTIS!" Now it's exclusively, "Of course jobs would come back after a pandemic, you moron!" "Biden is just like China and just wants to ruin America!!" "DEMENTIA!"

I guess that's the new (old) strategy.

How fucked up is Wall Street that news of better-than-expected employment numbers causes it to be bearish?

If they can keep raising interest rates and not destroy the job market, we should be cheering that perhaps they can thread this needle. I’m not confident in that, but it’s good news.

Sorry your free money spigot may be closing Wall Street…

Judging from companies preparing or triggering layoffs already, you get the impression that there is "appetite" for a recession, if only to cut labor costs. The market has been detached from the economy for a while now, this is nothing new.

It's the long-term effect on New Hampshire (and to some extent Iowa, which could have had its purple moments...before this)

If Trump did this, there'd be fainting spells. Biden gets away with a lot because he's Not Trump.

Is Fuentes trying to torpedo McCarthy out of hand? Poking MTG will drive her even more batshit than she already is.

Is this a serious comment? Gotta be a troll, right?

There's one election going on. For a six-year term in the Senate. In a state that was recently ruby red. A much tougher Senate map for the Dems in 2024. With a good candidate running against a brain-damaged moron. And it's close because, as stated, it was until recently a ruby-red state. And the extra vote in the Senate makes it a whole lot easier for the Dem majority to get at least some things done over the next two years.

But yeah, the Democrats should go ahead and half-ass it. C'mon with this.

    Yeah, I think he'll win by 3-to-5 points. I guess we'll see.
