Colorado just can’t help themselves, can they?

CU needs a major rebuild with someone who has done rebuilds before. The moment Deion can cobble together a win over Colorado State, Montana State, Wazzu, Cal and Stanford, he’s gone. The Mel Playbook.

Apparently Deion tried to go to the postgame press conference, but those Southern coaches just wouldn't stop talking.
    So he left.
On the bright side, he said he will coach JSU in the Celebration Bowl, which is actually quite surprising.

    “Coach Prime”.

    He really goes by this.

Should we start the 2024-25 thread for the carousel to put a link in for the CU job now?

If I was him I’d rather go to Cincinnati. I’d rather have gone to Auburn. I’d rather wait until something else opened up.

    Colorado makes zero sense

and I’ve said before, show me what he can do when he needs a qb that isn’t his kid

It has Urban Meyer-in-Jacksonville potential, except he’s smart enough to not kick his players.

Cincinnati would have made 100% sense.

Not that anyone should believe anything that comes out of a coach's mouth, but Deion said all the right things, people need representation, he believes in the program, it gives people hope, etc.

Where would Colorado find anyone who has done a Power Five rebuild? If a coach has done it once he would not want to do it again unless he got a huge contract. Colorado is stretching the budget to pay Sanders five million..

    Sanders and the U.

There is no more perfect match. But, that college he played for?
