I'd seriously question Deion Sanders' sanity if he had turned down at least double the money to live in a great place like Boulder and the chance to coach in a P5 conference to remain in a shithole like Jackson. I think you would too.

Who had the bigger takedown of the Colorado roster, Hawkins or Deion yesterday? My goodness.

At least by the time Coach Prime is done in Boulder, SDSU and Fresno won’t look so out of place academically in the PAC.

After Sanders told the roster to hit the portal, I wish they all would. Especially after that line about bringing his Louis Vitton players and automatically installing them as starters.

Wait isn’t that what every college player is, a mercenary? Why pretend that Bama players are true and through Ba when 95% were raised out of state? How many CU players are from CO?

Do coaches have to coach in their home state?

By my count there are roughly 45 players on the Alabama roster who came from in-state high schools. Several walk-one to be sure but also some starters and big contributors. This is one of the leading states for talent on a per-capita basis.

It was more the “my guys are starters y’all aren’t” that bothered me. If he’d said he was bringing some guys and there’d be a competition, it would be different.

I think you meant to put CUSA in single A, not the MWC in A and AA. Pretty accurate list, though. I'd put the independents at AA; Army and ND do enough to pull up UConn, NMSU and UMass.

He couldn't do it if the administration didn't approve it. I'll bet his players won't be the disciplinary problems those under that good Christian Bill McCartney were. He was almost a mob boss.

This smacks of Satterfield getting one more deal before Louisville was about to run him out next year. Similar to basketball with Shaka jumping Texas to Marquette.
