Commercial for a WWE-produced Ric Flair documentary on Peacock? Is he back in the fold with WWE? I have a hard time keeping up.

Does it include discussion or footage of the "last match," even though it involves three people on the AEW payroll?

I love seeing the veterans dip their toes into the NXT waters. First Gulak, now New Day.

The guy Gulak went out to see looks like one of the guys Zack Morris go to pretend was his dad for a meeting with Mr Belding

Who needs Gulak? I think Dempsey has someone else coming in that he knows.

The Mid-South episode of Territories … man, I was conflicted after watching it. It was good to hear some of the stories of the federation I actually attended in the early 1980s, but it left so much uncovered. Nothing on the Battle of New Orleans. Or Skandar Akbar.

They're definitely not going for a comprehensive look at each territory. The Memphis one was all about Kaufman, and the WCCW one didn't even mention the Von Erich deaths. It seems like they're picking a thread or two and following those in more detail.

I thought they had two on Memphis — one just on the Lawler-Kaufman feud, and another in the style of the other shows?
The producers were on Jericho's podcast when the show debuted and they went into some detail about the process of how they did this. They more or less picked the panels, then sat them at a table and just filmed it like a big bullshit session. So it might be a case where, even with hours of material, the stuff on those topics wasn't that interesting with the people they had; or the people on the panel weren't directly involved in it; or they just had better stories.
From the sound of it, they had way more material than they could ever hope to fit in an hour (or even two or three), so they had to leave a lot on the cutting room floor. Maybe they'll put it into more episodes, or revisit some of the other topics in Season 2.

Just watched the Stampede one and thought the same, sure it was great Bret Hart was there but I thought there'd be so much more to it. I never thought of Schultz, Bass and the Butcher as Stampede regulars. And the press box at the Calgary Saddledome, home of the Flames is named after the late, great Ed Whalen, who was the Flames' TV voice for decades in addition to his awesome work ringside for Stampede telecasts.

I may have missed one of the Memphis ones. I'll have to go back and check. I've been watching them off YouTube.
