The State Department, I imagine, is already working on this. If not, it should be.

I don't know what happened. But, I believe, this time, we have a president who will care to find out.

And curiously, Rupert Murdoch's klan is televising the Cup to the States. How will they handle/ignore it?
We can assume the Fox News portion of the empire will either ignore it or gleefully mock the damned libruhl and his wife, the freedom-destroying libruhl who wants to impose the tyranny of the fedruhl gubmint on our bodies.

Forgive me for thinking about myself but this is hitting way too close to home for me with all my problems. Even though I joke about it, I am not dying at any game....

    He was 48. Damn it.

Look, I get jumping to the murder conclusion. I understand his brother doing it, I do. It's tough to deal with a sudden, unexplained death. But the last thing this world needs is another conspiracy theory. Maybe he had a blood clot. Maybe a stroke. Maybe a heart attack. Let's not go to the dark side so quickly, even though it is tempting.

Wahl's death is affecting me a lot more than I imagined when I saw it breaking online. This is a damned dark day for fans of sports journalism and/or soccer and/or good people.

The truth will come out. The situation doesn't seem like foul play but I'd be testing his drink cup for polonium nonetheless.

I would expect Fox Sports to cover it in the morning. He previously was an on-air studio analyst for them.

Shocking loss. Just shocking. Been reading his great work for decades.

As Inky said, it's easy to jump to conclusions. Hopefully, we'll get the answers we all are asking.

    RIP.

I sit corrected, Fox News is actually not only covering this but going there.

Some folks are blaming the Qataris. Others are "just asking questions" about whether the Covid vaccine killed him. The brother gets a pass in his grief. Everybody else should be pumping the brakes.
