Not McCutcheon, Harris or Brock. (But now I need to research the record for tds thrown by one team in a season including playoffs)

another hint: this qb played mainly with the Vikings and the Falcons.

It is he. Two touchdowns on 11 completions. But not his best rate! Had two on five in 1975.

From a book I’m reading and never knew such a thing happened, who was the white player who integrated the Negro Leagues?

    Some trivia:
    — happened in 1946
    — team was the Cleveland Buckeyes
    — only pitched three innings
    — was threatened with arrest for violating segregation laws when the team went South
    — he isn’t listed on baseball reference.com

Seeing no takers, it was a man named Eddie Klep who broke the line that no was in. Oddly, while Branch Rickey chose Jackie Robinson because of his education and integrity, Cleveland’s owner, Ernie Wright, seems to have went in the exact opposite direction.

Klep had committed a strong of small crimes dating back to 1937 in his hometown of Erie. He also had a failed suicide attempt after getting a girl pregnant and then promptly ran out on her anyway.

My curiosity got the better of me, so I Googled it. I never would have gotten it in a million years otherwise.

Same here. My guess was Urban Meyer. I figured he had one at Ohio State.

I mean, I would think it’s Bear Bryant, but the last two posts make me think that’s wrong.

Paul Dietzel? LSU with Cannon and Army with…was it Jay Bellino?

    Not Urban, not Bryant.

    Bellino played at Navy.

I'll put up the answer at noon PST if no one gets it.
